Siloed Documentary

Feature-Length Documentary
The Siloed Documentary highlights the experiences of mothers and families living in rural and remote Montana communities. The film discusses challenges within the perinatal and postpartum periods, including impacts of geographic location, healthcare services and access, mental health conditions, and limited connection to culture and community. The film follows three mothers in Montana as they navigate the unique challenges of parenthood. Through the power of storytelling, Siloed aims to communicate shared experiences and challenges amongst Montana pregnant, postpartum, and parenting women to initiate systems-change and improve health outcomes.
It is the hope of the MOMS Program that organizations, coalitions, and advocates host screenings of the Siloed documentary series within their respective communities to share information and foster conversations for change.
