Obstetric Emergency Simulation

In partnership with Simulation in Motion Montana (SIM-MT), MOMS provides mobile high fidelity obstetric emergency simulation training aimed at reducing medical errors, improving patient outcomes, increasing team performance, and more. 

From 2020-2024, SIM-MT conducted 71 simulation trainings, reaching 570 health professionals. The most common training topics were:

  • Postpartum Hemorrhage
  • Normal Delivery
  • Normal Delivery Sick Baby
  • Trauma in Pregnancy

Project ECHO Series Archives

From 2020-2024, MOMS, in partnership with Billings Clinic, hosted 70 Project ECHO sessions, reaching over 460 spoke participants.

Each MOMS Project ECHO Clinic starts with a didactic, followed by case presentations. The didactic portionProject ECHO Billings Clinic Logo of each clinic is recorded and uploaded to the Billings Clinic Project ECHO Vimeo Channel. Recording the didactics allows those that were not able to attend or those that wish to review the topics access to the presentations. Recordings do not include case presentations to ensure patients’ protected health information and privacy are protected. 

Recorded versions of MOMS Project ECHO clinics are not eligible for CME or nursing contact hours.
